From detox and inpatient rehabilitation, to outpatient treatment and sober living recovery homes, we provide those battling addiction with the roadmaps towards healing.

We are licensed by the New York State Office of Addiction Services & Supports and accredited by the Joint Commission.

MAIN FUNCTION:

- To assist the Executive Director of Outpatient and the Clinical Director in providing in the daily supervision and implementation of the clinical program. To provide direct treatment to those patients who are addicted to alcohol and substances, as well as providing counseling to the patient’s family members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Review all charts to assure completeness and compliance with all regulatory bodies.

- To assist the Executive Director of Outpatient and Clinical Director with the daily supervision of all clinical staff.

- To assist in the orientation and training of all new clinicians.

- To conduct screening assessments and psychosocials.

- To provide group and individual counseling when/if necessary.

- Responsible for designing and implementing treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, progress reporting and discharge reports.

- Participation in weekly case conference meetings.

- Participate in Quality Improvement, staff meetings and other facility activities required.

- Discharge/Transitional Planning.

- Provide in-service training for clinical and other facility staff as indicated.

- Available for emergency situations.

- Ensure that Seafield’s policies and procedures and federal regulations regarding confidentiality of the patients and their records are adhered to.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualified Health Professional (QHP) with specialization in Substance Use Disorders; administrative/supervisory experience preferred.

The physical demands described here are representative of those functions that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

- While performing this job, the employee is required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.

- This is a largely sedentary role and involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required occasionally.

- The employee must have the ability to use a computer keyboard, mouse, calculator, copier, fax machine, scanner and telephone.
